Paul Carter BA (Hons) Computing CITP MBCS, Co-founder & Managing Director
Paul has spent his career in software development and I.T. since graduating with a BA Honours degree in Computing at a time when using computers with punched cards was still a 'thing'. After a number of years travelling the world with a multinational computer company, and helping to save the world from the 'Millennium Bug', a change of focus resulted in him becoming a freelance software developer. The birth of Beachshore followed soon after and the rest is history. Developing websites since 1996, Paul enjoys the variety that comes from working with a wide range of businesses and organisations.
Away from Beachshore, Paul is a genealogist and is frequently called upon to speak to local and family history audiences and writing articles on using technology in genealogical research. He is a Chartered IT Professional and Professional Member of BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, observing their code of conduct.
